Terms and Conditions

THE FARMER'S BEST FRIEND

1. Definitions

  • “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to The Farmer’s Best Friend and its related entities.

  • “Customer”, “You” refers to any individual or entity purchasing or using our products or services.

  • “Products” refer to all pet food, treats, subscriptions, and related items sold by the Company.

  • “Website” refers to our official website and related online platforms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing our Products, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use our services or purchase our Products.

 

3. Product Use & Suitability

  1. Our Products are intended for pets only and not for human consumption.

  2. Customers are responsible for ensuring Products are suitable for their pet’s:

    • Age

    • Breed

    • Health condition

    • Dietary needs

  3. We do not guarantee suitability for pets with:

    • Pre-existing medical conditions

    • Food allergies

    • Special veterinary requirements

  4. Please bring your animal in to visit a veterinarian for a consultation before changing your pet's diet

 

4. No Medical or Veterinary Claims

  1. Our Products are not medication and do not replace veterinary care.

  2. Any nutritional information, feeding guides, or recommendations provided are general guidance only.

  3. We do not make “complete & balanced” or therapeutic claims unless expressly stated.

5. Orders & Payment

  1. All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are subject to:

    • GST (inclusive)

    • Delivery fees

  2. Payment must be made in full at the point of purchase.

  3. We reserve the right to:

    • Reject or cancel orders

    • Correct pricing or listing errors

    • Limit quantities per customer

 

6. Subscription Plans

  1. Subscription plans (monthly / bi-weekly) renew automatically unless cancelled.

  2. Customers may cancel or modify subscriptions:

    • Before the stated cut-off date for the next cycle

  3. No refunds will be issued for:

    • Orders already processed

    • Missed cancellation windows

7. Storage, Handling & Delivery

  1. Fresh and frozen Products must be:

    • Stored according to instructions upon receipt

    • Handled responsibly by the Customer

  2. Risk of spoilage transfers to the Customer upon delivery.

  3. We are not liable for spoilage due to:

    • Improper storage

    • Delayed receipt

    • Failed delivery attempts caused by incorrect details

 

8. Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of fresh pet food:

  1. No refunds or exchanges are permitted once Products are delivered, except where:

    • The Product is defective

    • The wrong item was delivered

  2. Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, with supporting photos.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to:

 

  • Logos

  • Recipes

  • Images

  • Text

  • Packaging designs

are the intellectual property of the Company and may not be reproduced without written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  1. The Company shall not be liable for:

    • Any adverse reactions in pets

    • Indirect or consequential loss

    • Loss of profits or business

  2. Total liability shall not exceed the value of the Product purchased.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • Improper use of Products

  • Failure to follow feeding or storage instructions

  • Breach of these Terms

12. Personal Data & Privacy

We collect and process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

 

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Acts of God

  • Government regulations

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
